Conventional wisdom often focuses on the inevitable decline of individuals who are middle-aged and older. We hear phrases like “over the hill” and are often teased about “one more candle on the birthday cake.” Well, I don’t buy into it. I believe that individuals aged 40-plus have the best years of their lives ahead of them.

I know it’s true because I have personally coached those who have achieved amazing results in health and lifestyle by improving their fitness level. Increased physical strength and endurance, improved aerobic capacity, greater flexibility and balance all add up to a happier, more vital you. Our professional coaching team understands the fitness profile of our 40-plus clients — each is skilled in exercise physiology and methodology, and each is committed to our Y.E.S. Fitness Core Values. We serve each and every individual with the utmost respect and care. We begin with a complimentary Y.E.S. Fitness Strategy Session, which includes understanding your general medical, workout, sports and nutritional history — and most importantly, your goals. Next, we take you through a Functional Movement Screening, which gives us a clear blueprint of the kinetics of your body — how it actually moves. This data, along with your feedback, will help us design the kind of results-driven program you’re looking for and will provide the information we need to assess your progress and to make any adjustments along the way. Finally, we help you visualize what it will be like to be a Y.E.S. Fitness client — we’ll discuss cost, scheduling, semi-private and group training, and create a plan that best meets your needs.

Since 1998, I have been designing custom exercise plans for people in accordance with their level of fitness, schedules and budgets, and most importantly, with the goals they have for a healthier, improved lifestyle. Many of our new clients come in de-conditioned, or perhaps have never exercised before. Others may have worked out in other facilities, but stopped out of boredom, bad social fit, or because of a lack of results. No matter what your workout history, please know that Y.E.S. Fitness is NOT your typical “one-size-fits-all” discount fitness franchise who may show you how to do a chest press, or operate a treadmill and then walk away. We get to know you, and learn what works for you. We stay with you along the way, coaching you toward success and tracking your progress. And rest assured, our facility is intimate — no mazes of specialized rooms, unfamiliar faces, or off-limits equipment. At Y.E.S. Fitness, we maintain a supportive, non-intimidating, non-competitive environment. Here, you’re treated like an adult, because you are one.
