I strive to help people live a healthier lifestyle. I believe my unique training techniques provide a complimentary style of training to the Y.E.S Fitness Team. I like to integrate the stability ball into motivating sessions that provide an overall body workout with a focus on proper form to maximize core strength.

I am a certified Health Fitness Specialist and I use my training and knowledge to create effective, challenging, one-on-one personal training sessions. I have over 20 years of experience as a Med-Surg Registered Nurse at the Hospital of Central Connecticut where I came to enjoy helping people and which makes me encourage clients to achieve their health and fitness goals through healthier habits.

Embracing healthy lifestyle choices and maximizing one’s potential within his/her abilities is the key to healthful living. Each client is a unique individual who deserves respect, privacy, trust and the expectation to work within his/her comfort zone.  I challenge, educate, ensure safety, motivate, and bring forth the personal power of the individual by focusing on mindful movement and goal-directed actions.

The way I like to coach my clients is through cueing and demonstrating a move in a way that the client senses his/her own body awareness. This ensures a client’s success with attention to proper form, technique and balance. With calm, positive reinforcement and encouragement, I aspire to keep the motivation up, and my passion for fitness will hopefully be infectious.
