“Back in 1971, when I was just 12, my Uncle Jimmy tragically passed away, at only 48 years old, from complications due to diabetes. My father was devastated about losing his only sibling — a wonderful man whose life was cut way too short. This was the only time I ever saw my dad cry, and it still moves me deeply to this day. That’s why I have such a passion and commitment to live a lifestyle that minimizes disease and maximizes longevity, and to help others do the same—for themselves and their families.”
