Herbs For Arthritis and Joint Pain

Licorice is an anti-inflammatory because it acts like the body’s own corticosteroids. Licorice also reduces free radicals in places in the body where there is inflammation. You can take licorice in the form of a supplement or drink as a tea.

Nettles are chock full of amazing health benefits. They contain protein, calcium, phosphorus, iron, magnesium, beta-carotene, vitamins A, C, D and B complex, as well as the minerals boron, magnesium and silicon.

Stinging nettle is great for gout and all types of arthritis. Sip this herb as a tea for adrenal and kidney support.

Flax seeds are also great in fighting arthritic symptoms because they are great sources of omega 3 ALA. Add two tablespoons of flaxseed to your morning smoothie.
