We’ve taken it up a notch and incorporated exercises in multiple planes of motion, using all kinds of equipment such as TRX, kettlebells, ropes, sandbags, medicine balls, specialized treadmills and more into an interval-style workout. After-burn

After-burn

After-burn will make you lean and strong. After-burn is based off of the Tabata protocol. Tabata offers short bursts of peak effort using the formula of a work/rest ratio of 2:1. The class includes alternating periods of 20 seconds of intense anaerobic exercise followed by shorter recovery periods of 10 seconds for 8 cycles.
Tabata interval training is one of the most effective types of high intensity training. Through a variety of simple, yet effective exercises, each class will blast the calories and provide noticeable results in a short amount for time. Whether your goal is muscle gain, fat loss or both, this class will provide what you are looking for.
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a form of cardiovascular exercise that provides improved aerobic capacity and conditioning, improved glucose metabolism and an improvement in fat burning. The short interval workouts burn more calories post-workout than traditional aerobic workouts. This is the “After-burn”. This helps you get to where you want to be quicker. The trick is to give the high-intensity portion of the workout 100% effort! If you are exerting your body with extreme effort those short burst of exercise, you’ll maximize your efforts. Join an After-burn class two times per week.
