Many of us are celebrating amazing victories, many of us are in the middle of our journey to our next goal, and many more are looking for that next personal goal and achievement. As you look toward setting your next goal or revisiting your current goal, keep in mind the power of positive visualization.
This tool is very personal and can be the biggest challenge for all of us. However, it is the key to making permanent change in your life and achieving your goals. You have to tap into the way you will look and feel, and visualize it.
Close your eyes right now and picture yourself as a fit individual. When you first do this, it may be very tough to do, and you may not be able to see a clear picture of what you’ll look and feel like. It may be fuzzy, or you may not be able to picture it at all. Keep practicing. Every day, close your eyes and picture it. Get a clear picture in your head of how you want to look and feel. This will take practice. With practice it becomes more and more clear.
Once you have a clear picture of what you’ll feel like, what you’ll look like, what you’ll wear, and how empowered and confident you’ll be, make a fist with your right hand while you have the picture in your head. Start to connect that vision with your fist. This is a very powerful tool for when you may be tempted to make an excuse. Anytime you need to refocus, simply close your eyes and make a fist, and the vision will pop into your head, reminding you of the feeling you’ll have when you reach your goal. We have had so many reasons to be proud of our members and our teams, but we brim with pride every day when we see each of you come in, determined to crush your work out, and getting one step closer to your goal.
